The Broodmother enraged on the Heart of the Web, a raider cocooned in silk at the end of the crowd, the damage board in the corner
The Heart of the Web. The last floor: she has enraged, a raider is cocooned at the end of the line, and the crowd has been sent to cut them out.

The five floors

Phases

The platform sinks a floor deeper each time its health crosses a line. What happens on each floor:

FloorFromWhat happens thereWhat it says
I. The Webbed Hall 100% The Bite, The Web Sssso many... and all of you so warm.
II. The Egg Chambers 80% The Bite, The Web, The Clutch Wake, my children. Supper has come down to us.
III. The Cocoon Larder 60% The Bite, Cocoons Hold still. I will keep you for later.
IV. The Venom Pools 40% The Bite, The Web Taste it? That is the deep in you now.
V. The Heart of the Web 20% The Bite, The Last of the Brood, Cocoons — and it enrages The web is MINE. Every thread of it.

On floor V it enrages: everything it does hits 50% harder and comes 50% faster, until it dies.

What it does

The numbers are before the enrage. You never have to move or pick a target for any of it — on Auto the fight sends raiders where they are needed — but you can click any of its creatures to go after it yourself.

HabitFloorsWhat it does
The Bite
Hits everyone
I, II, III, IV and V Every 8 seconds the Broodmother winds up for 1.5 seconds, then hits every raider standing for 12. Nothing reduces it — bring bandages and food. On floors IV and V it also leaves venom: 2 more hits of 8, 2.5 seconds apart.
The Web
Holds one raider
I, II and IV Every 10 seconds one raider is caught and cannot swing or cast for 5 seconds.
The Clutch
Adds
II Spiderlings: about one for every 3 raiders (at least 2, never more than 12 at once), each with 170 health plus 12 for every raider in the fight and biting for 8 every 2.5 seconds. 3 raiders are sent at each one. More come every 25 seconds while the floor lasts.
The Last of the Brood
Adds
V Spiderlings: about one for every 4 raiders (at least 2, never more than 12 at once), each with 170 health plus 12 for every raider in the fight and biting for 8 every 2.5 seconds. 3 raiders are sent at each one. More come every 18 seconds while the floor lasts.
Cocoons
Traps raiders
III and V Every 15 seconds about one raider in 6 is sealed in a Silk Cocoon with 80 health, and the 2 raiders nearest are sent to break them out. Anyone still inside after 12 seconds takes 60 as it closes.

Its treasure

Hoard

Found nowhere else. Every fighter gets one roll at this table per kill, on top of the shared hoard, the painting and the rest — see the rewards. None of it is power: it is decoration, a reagent, and a picture of the thing you killed. The rarity column is relative to the others on this table, not a chance. The furniture goes down in your house or your yard like any other placeable, and the portrait hangs on a wall.

ItemWhat it isRarity
Spider's Silk ×20–60 Common
The Brood Egg Sac A clutch of her eggs in a sac of old silk. Something in it shifts when nobody is looking. Uncommon
The Larder Cocoon Strung up on a frame of bones. Whoever was in it is not, any more. Probably. Uncommon
The Broodmother's Head Mounted. Eight eyes, every one of them dark, and a good deal of the fang left. Uncommon
A Span of Her Web Cut from the Heart of the Web and stretched on a hoop. It still twitches when it is touched. Uncommon
The Broodmother Painted from directly underneath, which the painter did not choose. A framed painting — hang it on a wall of your house. Only a World Boss's hoard gives one up. Rare
